Thermal Measurement Training Courses in The UK

Teddington, UK — Periodically The UK’s National Physical Laboratory – NPL, The National Measurement Laboratory for The UK, runs courses suitable for technicians and technical managers concerned with temperature measurement.

Currently there are two courses – one on temperature measurement and calibration in the range -200 °C to 2950 °C, the other on humidity measurement.

The next Thermal Measurement training courses are scheduled to run in April 2007. Details of the topics can be found by following the appropriate links below:

Temperature Measurement & Calibration Training Course: This course is suitable for technicians and technical managers closely concerned with temperature measurement and calibration, and will broadly follow the pattern established in previous courses. Covering the range -200 °C to 2950 °C. Start Date: 23 April 2007 — End Date: 27 April 2007.

Humidity Measurement & Calibration Training Course: The course will be suitable for technicians and technical managers closely concerned with humidity measurement and calibration. Covering dew point, relative humidity and many other humidity quantities.
Start Date: 26 April 2007 End Date: 27 April 2007

General Information

The courses will be held at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington. NPL is located approx. 15 miles south-west of Central London and can easily be reached by road and by rail (from London Waterloo): it is also easily accessible from Heathrow Airport. Details of road and rail routes to NPL will be sent with confirmation of registration. Car parking is available on site.
