Brochure describes ABB SensyTemp sensors?? for high-temperature processing applications
Warminster PA, USA –?? The four-page, full-color illustrated brochure from ABB describes the SensyTemp TSH200 series of temperature sensors designed for high temperatures: 600 ??C to 1800 ??C (1112 ??F to 3272 ??F).?? The brochure notes that the sensors, having modular components, provide a wide range of possible combinations to fit a variety of high-temperature applications.
Choices include thermocouple types, thermowell materials, ceramic and stainless steel protection tubes, and connection heads. The brochure next lists such applications as annealing; cement, brick, glass, and ceramic industries, blast furnaces and incineration.
One page covers three basic variations, depending on the highest temperature requirements.
The TSH210 temperature sensor meets requirements up to 1300 ??C (2372 ??F).
The TSH220 sensor measures temperatures up to 1800 ??C (3272 ??F) and includes a ceramic thermowell with stainless steel connection/support tube.
The TSH250 sensor is specially designed for molten glass temperatures up to 1650 ??C (3002 ??F), using platinum-coated ceramic protected?? steel thermocouples. It is optionally available with a triple-stage element to measure temperature distributions of the molten bath.
All temperature sensors of the TSH200 series can be calibrated in the ABB lab with traceability to a national standard.
