Temperature sensor ICs 0
Chiba, Japan & Torrance CA, USA – Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) provides a temperature sensor/switch lineup that includes an analog output temperature sensor IC with a linear output voltage and a temperature switch IC with an output that inverts according to the detected temperature.
These ICs are ideal for a wide range of applications such as temperature control and detection.
The analog output temperature sensor IC has a better linearity than a thermistor, eliminating the need to make linearization calculations or adjustments in order to define the temperature.
The S-58LM20A Series has a low current consumption of 4.5 µA typ. (25ºC) and a small size of 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.58 mm.
The temperature switch IC is small and has a low current consumption. The IC also executes stand-alone temperature detection, reducing the parts required. Using this IC therefore enables savings in both costs and space.
Their temperature switch IC lineup includes the latch-type S-5840B Series, the hysteresis-type S-5841 Series, and the dual trip temperature Switch IC S-5842A Series.
About SII
SII has been developing and producing small, low current consuming and highly accurate temperature sensor ICs for more than 20 years. We plan to continue developing product lineups that respond to our customers’ diverse needs.
