Vendors: NEW Digital Temp Sensor and Thermostat with EEPROM
Semiconductor/ICs Maxim Integrated Products introduces the DS7505 ±0.5°C accurate, digital temperature sensor and thermostat with nonvolatile memory (EEPROM).
Digital Temperature Sensor and Thermostat with EEPROMSUNNYVALE CA, USA - The integration of nonvolatile EEPROM enables this Maxim Integrated Products IC device to power-up with a user-defined configuration and thermostat thresholds, whereas other similar devices store threshold and configuration data in volatile memory and, therefore, can only power-up in the factory-defined state.

Software and pin compatible with the industry-standard LM75 and Maxim's DS75, the DS7505 is ideal for applications that require high-accuracy temperature sensing, such as base-station, telecom, networking, and medical systems.

Vendors: New Filter Function With Thermal Analysis Software
Thermal Analysis & Modeling A new category of the STARe software from METTLER TOLEDO to help find a desired measurement curve or evaluation from thousands of data records within a few seconds
STARe software Columbus OH , USA -- Software organization has been made easy and convenient with a new category of the STARe software from METTLER TOLEDO.

Users can now find a desired measurement curve or evaluation from thousands of data records within a few seconds. The STARe software for DSC, TGA, TMA and DMA has always been based on a relational database and is an excellent solution to quickly and easily manage large amounts of data.

As the name implies, the data stored in a relational database are related. The relationships between data entries can be used to search (filter) for specific information, for example for a particular method, curve or evaluation.

For METTLER TOLEDO customers, this proven and successful concept now offers additional functionality to make data organization, handling and searching even more straightforward and efficient.

Data Acquisition: NEW: Lower Cost 8-channel TEMPpoint™
Contact Temperature Sensors Data Translation Lowers Entry Price for High Accuracy Temperature Measurement Instruments
CLICK TO DOWNLOAD BROCHURE IN PDF FORMAT
MARLBORO, MA, USA − Data Translation announces lower cost versions of its popular TEMPpoint™ temperature measurement instrument.

TEMPpoint now offers customers an 8-channel entry level version that can be easily extended to 16, 24, 32, 40, or 48 channels over time. This modularity allows customers to upgrade their system as needed while keeping their entry-level costs low.

TEMPpoint instruments are stand-alone boxes offering 8 to 48 separate 24-bit resolution inputs, each with its own A/D converter and CJC circuit, providing the ultimate in accurate temperature measurement. Thermocouple or RTD versions are available, as well as a USB or Ethernet (LXI) port for connecting to a PC.

Vendors: Platinum RTD Meters
RTDs-PRTs Daytronic Digital Panel MeterDayton, OH, USA -- These Daytronic Digital Panel Meter (DPM) models provide highly accurate, stable, and repeatable temperature indication for signals from 100-Ohm Platinum Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD’s) with DIN "alpha" of 0.00385 or ANSI "alpha" of 0.003925.

RTD range and resolution (1° or 0.1°) are selectable from the front panel or via special commands issued over the optional serial interface. Data display in units of degrees Kelvin or Rankine can be selected by offsetting the Celsius or Fahrenheit range, respectively.

Open sensor indication is standard, and may be set to indicate either upscale or downscale.

RTD excitation of 0.2 mA is provided by the meter, and is monitored to make ratiometric corrections for excitation-supply variations.
