PME’s NEW miniDOT Oxygen Logger
Vista CA, USA — ??The miniDOT oxygen logger collects temperature and dissolved oxygen measurements and stores them to an internal 2GB SD card.
The dissolved oxygen sensor is an optode that measures lifetime-based luminescence quenching of fluorescence of a thin membrane. This oxygen logger collects measurements of dissolved oxygen with an accuracy of ?? 5% and temperature to ?? 0.1 ??C.
The miniDOT oxygen logger is self contained and able to function within a variety of liquid environments. Data are stored on an internal SD card and are offloaded to a computer via a USB card reader.
The miniDOT oxygen logger can be programmed to make measurements at 1 minute intervals to 1 hour intervals.
The miniDOT measures the amount of dissolved oxygen within the aqeous solution. Dissolved oxygen is the concentration of gaseous oxygen found in the water and is a very important component to the health of the aquatic ecosystem. Organisms found within the aquatic environment rely upon dissolved oxygen.
