An integrated device for environmental multi-parameter monitoring of buildings & automation activities
Mairano (Brescia), Italy — Tattile Security Division’ s AMBRA device includes a temperature sensor that is is a high-precision integrated 14 bit CMOS digital detector with an accuracy of ± 0.4 °C at 25 °C. Its humidity sensor measures relative humidity with similar capabilities to within ±3% RH.
An Infrared PIR Motion sensor with integrated Fresnel lens senses heat presence out as far as 5 m. While an X-band microwave Doppler sensor detects motion over a 72° H x 36° V angular region.
A video sensor captures images and a proximity lighting double system is equipped with high-efficiency LEDs.
AMBRA is also able to collect environmental audio & video with an integrated camera and sensitive microphone.
Its DSP chip supports high processing capacity with the operating system TOS (Tattile Operating System) and several algorithms for analysis of events, hazards, and critical situations.

The majority sensors are projected to provide immediate alerts when triggered. Some are late. For example the main door used for entrance into the house will have a delayed trigger, allowing family member’s time to immobilize the alarm when entering the home. The number of movement sensors must be kept to a smallest because they can work in the burglar’s favor too
