For temperatures from -180 to 1,750 ??C
Raytek’s Berlin-based test laboratory has been certified for the calibration of temperature measuring systems by the DAkkS accreditation body
Berlin, Germany – The German accreditation body DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH) has reaccredited the Raytek testing laboratory for the calibration of pyrometers, temperature indicators, and temperature simulators.
The Berlin-based state-of-the-art laboratory has already been operating successfully as a calibration lab in the framework of the DKD accreditation service (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst) since July 2008.
The reaccreditation was required after the DKD was merged into the new DAkkS authority. The independent laboratory tests and calibrates stationary and portable infrared pyrometers of all brands and spectral ranges, documents the actual value acquisition, and issues DAkkS calibration certificates.
The Raytek lab is authorized to test IR devices with measuring ranges between -20 and 2,700 ??C. In Germany, only the national metrology institute PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) can rival this comprehensive accreditation.
Cooperating with the Raytek test lab, customers obtain internationally recognized calibration certificates and profit from Raytek’s longstanding competence in the development and manufacture of high-precision temperature measuring systems.
In addition to IR pyrometers, the Raytek laboratory also calibrates and certifies its sister company Datapaq’s data loggers for measured temperatures from -180 to 1,750 ??C.
Raytek designs, manufactures, markets and services a complete line of infrared, noncontact temperature measurement instruments for industrial, process control and maintenance applications. In addition to our worldwide headquarters in Santa Cruz, California USA, European headquarters in Berlin, Germany and our China headquarters in Beijing, China, Raytek has regional offices around the globe and is represented by a worldwide network of authorized distributors.
