New self-contained pyrometer model the stand-alone PSC-G54NL/NV

Franklin Lakes NJ, USA — Process Sensors Corporation introduces its newest self-contained pyrometer models, the stand-alone PSC-G54NL/NV and PSC-S54NL/NV.

With a choice of two sighting methods, these products deliver high resolution fixed focus optics with small spot sizes, digital RS485 communication interface, analog 4 to 20 mA output and fast speed of response.

Optical and electronics parts are enclosed in rugged stainless steel housings.

Sales Manager, Scott Nagle stated, “The nature of these highly compact and versatile IR sensors makes them ideal for use by machine manufacturers, in induction heating, welding, brazing, semiconductor and vacuum applications.

“They deliver high performance in the most demanding environments. Armed with color composite video output, the PSC-G54NL/NV and PSC-S54NL/NV can be connected to any commercially available monitor, or to a PC via an off-the-shelf frame grabber.”

With wide temperature ranges spanning from 200 to 3000 ??C, the new models offer a choice of integrated red laser or video camera sighting.

The free of charge PSCSpot software with optional USB cable for connection to RS485 output allows simple set up of IR thermometer parameters, facilitates multitasking and makes the recording of data in graphical, text or tabular format simple.

The PSC-G54NL/NV and PSC-S54NL/NV Series pyrometers are ideal for applications in heat treating, kilns, composites and sintering, as well as demanding research and development environments.

The durable and compact companion stainless steel cooling jackets with integrated air purge stand up to even the harshest environments, and a number of innovative, ruggedly designed accessories are available.
