Meeting on Future thermal analysis needs – providing data modelling and more | 12 October 2010 | Techno Centre, Coventry UK

Teddington, UK — This event gives you the opportunity to hear examples of project experiences from Scott Owens of NNL (National Nuclear Laboratory) and David Ford of DAF Associates as well as speakers from NPL (National Physical Laboratory), which have resulted in the successful creation of thermophysical data for industrial applications.

The meeting also allows you the opportunity to influence the direction and focus of NPL’s thermophysical properties research and development programme.

Topics covered:

  • Thermal conductivity
  • Glass transition
  • Thermal diffusivity
  • Heat capacity
  • Thermal expansion
  • Insulation materials
  • Ceramics
  • Metals and alloys
  • Glasses
  • Composites
  • Polymers

Who should attend:

If your organisation will have requirements for thermophysical property data in the future, this is your chance to help ensure the facilities will be available to make these measurements.

The day will also present an overview of current capabilities and showcase the new facilities being developed at NPL.

See the provisional agenda and please note that whilst this event is free registration is essential- as places are limited.
