Dual-band Thermal Infrared Imager


SPIE_dsc16Erlangen, Germany — The IRCAM dual-band IR camera GEMINIS 327k ML simultaneously acquires images in the MWIR and the LWIR spectral region.

It uses a large format (640 x 512 pixels) FPA detector with a “sandwich” structure, based on MCT technology.

Both images are exactly registered and can easily be overlayed. The camera can also be operated in mono-band mode, with double frame rate.

IRCAM was founded in 2005 by Dr. Oliver Schreer and Dr. Mónica López Sáenz. Dr. Oliver Schreer was former co-founder and managing director of the company Thermosensorik GmbH. Dr. Mónica López has worked in IR physics since 1990 and was marketing manager of Thermosensorik GmbH. IRCAM has a team of skilled engineers and technicians with extensive experience in the development of IR cameras and systems. The know-how ranges from software and electronics development to computer aided design and practical applications of IR technology.
