ITherm 2012

The ITherm Achievement Award, first instituted in 1996, is presented biennially in recognition of significant contributions made in thermal and thermomechanical management of electronics.

The selection criteria include PIONEERING and SUSTAINING electronics thermal/thermomechanical research contributions as well as SERVICE to the electronics thermal/thermo-mechanical management community and SUPPORT of ITherm-related activities.

The Award, to be presented at the ITherm Banquet includes a memento, a plaque, and an honorarium. Travel, conference registration, and lodging will be complimentary. The recipient is expected to attend ITherm and present an Invited Lecture on the topic of their choosing.

ITherm 2012 is an international conference for scientific and engineering exploration of thermal, thermomechanical and emerging technology issues associated with electronic devices, packages and systems. ITherm 2012 will be held along with the 62nd Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC 2012 –, a premier electronic packaging conference.??In additon to paper and poster presentations and vendor exhibits, ITherm 2012 will include panel discussions, keynote lectures by prominent speakers, and professional short courses.

Therm 2012 will feature original papers addressing latest developments in research and technology
