The TAFDV* Symposium/ASTM E37 Workshop on Thermal Analysis Methods applied to Kinetics, Failure Analysis, and Service Lifetime Prediction will be held on Thursday September 26, 2013 at NIST Gaithersburg MD, USA.

The symposium will focus on different thermal analytical methods towards predicting lifetime or understanding why a material failed.

A full day of talks is planned and there will be concurrent vendor and poster exhibits.

Associated with the symposium will be:

Although registration is free for each of the above events, one must register through the NIST portal.

No onsite registration will be possible though there will be an onsite check-in.

* TAFDV is the Thermal Analysis Forum of Delaware Valley. It is a local Section of the??The North American Thermal Analysis Society – NATAS.

NATAS is dedicated to promoting the understanding and advancement of thermal analysis. Since its inception in 1968, the society has represented the interests of thousands of scientists, academicians, physicists, chemists, technicians and engineers alike and all major instrument vendors. NATAS supports a variety of activities designed to meet the needs of its membership. In addition to a National Conference, NATAS provides its members with a periodical of technical and industrial news, networking opportunities, and educational and technological advancements.
