Free RTD Temp Measurement Training

RTDology?? Online From Burns Engineering
Minnetonka MN, USA — (PRWEB) — As part of their continuing series of web-based training modules, Burns Engineering will present a complimentary session on RTD accuracy on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at 12:00 PM CST. Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) are primary instruments in the measurement of temperature, and confident measurements start with a solid understanding of accuracy.

“RTD Accuracy I – Terminology & Error Sources” will address the often confusing and misunderstood topic of accuracy in the world of temperature measurement. In this session Burns will explain the difference between sensor and measurement accuracy, common terminology and typical error sources. In addition, there will be ample time for attendees to ask accuracy related questions.

This is the first session in a 3-part series on RTD accuracy designed to clear up the confusion and mystery around terminology, error sources, impact of various errors, and strategies for improvement. The series will assist attendees in achieving their temperature measurement goals. Attendees can register for just one session or the entire series. All sessions are presented via the web and there is no cost to attend.
