High Temp Dry Block Calibrator

Highly Accurate – Wide Range With Excellent Stability for TCs, RTDs & Other Sensors

High Temperature Dry Block Calibrator
Stamford CT, USA –?? The Omega CL1201 is designed to provide very accurate and repeatable thermal calibration between 400 ??C and 1200 ??C for a wide variety of thermocouples and other temperature sensors in industries such as glass manufacture, power generation, automotive and material processing.

This rugged, economically priced portable thermocouple dry block calibrator is supplied with a NIST traceable certificate. The unit provides excellent stability to within ??0.1 ??C and has display accuracy of better than ??3 ??C between 400 and 1200 ??C.

The CL1201 block calibrator utilizes a special heater design for optimum temperature uniformity and rapid heating rates.

The heating system consists of heater elements embedded in lightweight vacuum formed ceramic fiber moldings which allows faster heating rates and extends the working life above other ceramic tube designs which have heater elements wrapped around a ceramic tube.

An isothermal block assembly is machined from a special alloy giving excellent thermal conductivity and also resists high temperature oxidation.

This block is designed to optimize performance between sufficient mass for good stability and uniformity and to have a low enough mass to have rapid heating/cooling rates and short stabilization periods. RS232 communications is standard.

  1. NOTE PLEASE: We have received similar obvious requests for directory links on this website, but they do not belong here; there are no vendor links other than those that appear in a News or PR article.

Plain Jane directory links are welcome for temperature, moisture and weather instruments and sensors at our FREE Directory sites: http://www.TempSensor.net, http://www.MeasurementDevices.com and http://www.MeasurementDB.com. They are all self-submission sites and we do not charge for the listings, but do review all. They are all subject to edit or dismissal if not appropriate or well written e.g. they are blatant sales pitches.

We also encourage and accept descriptive links to online measurement-related technical resources, applications notes, white papers and similar items at http://www.TempSensor.net/, http://www.MeasurementDB.com, http://www.IRApps.com and http://www.SpectralEmissivity.com. There are no submission fees and the same basic conditions stated above apply on those sites as well. Note that the number of links on all these sites has been growing steadily for the past few years and represent a win-win-win situation for equipment makers and distributors as explained on our Media Website: http://www.measurementmedia.com/about/measurementmedia-network
