Pasadena CA, USA?? –?? Announcing the second session dedicated to Earth surface temperatures at the 2014 Fall American Geophysical Union meeting on 15-19 December 2014 in San Francisco, California.

Description:??Surface temperature (ST) is a critical variable for studying the energy and water balances of the Earth surface, and monitoring the effects of climate change.

The EarthTemp network was established in 2012 to stimulate new international collaboration in measuring ST across different domains of the Earth???s surface: air, land, sea, lakes, ice.

This EarthTemp session is focused on:

  1. progress in improving the quality of ST products, and
  2. the use of ST data in Earth surface processes, water resource management, and climate studies.
