One of the exhibition highlights, at a recent Glass Conference in India, the Raytek Marathon series of fixed pyrometers combines intelligent digital electronics and a modern electro-optical system with robust housings and application-specific accessories.

The range comprises IR thermometers for single and multi-channel operation (ratio pyrometers), thermometers for short wavelengths, and IR thermometers with fibre optics.

In glass moulding and coating lines, the Raytek MP150 infrared line scanner generates thermal images, overseeing the correct heating of every single pane and uniform temperature distribution.

Damages are instantly displayed, and users can immediately make corrections to the process configuration, if required.

Raytek’s sister company Ircon presented the versatile applications of its Modline 7 series.

The rugged Ircon Modline 7 infrared pyrometer with cooling jacket can be used at ambient temperatures up to 315 °C.

The Modline 77 and 78 models were application-tailored for the production of float glass and ultra-thin drawn glass and were shown in Mumbai.

Raytek is represented in India by its three own offices in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai, and five distributors that service all of the country.
