WebinarOnline?? –?? In this Webinar, Alex Carra will take the model from his previous Webinar: “Manipulating Geometry and Meshing in FEMAP” and set up and run two sets of analyses in NX Nastran.

In the first part of the webinar, we will review meshing the simplified bracket geometry.

Then, he will go over adding additional elements to the model and setting up loads and constraints.

FEMAP is a CAD and solver-neutral advanced engineering environment developed by Siemens PLM. It can be used to model systems across various industries, and perform engineering analyses for structural, heat conductivity, and fluid flow problems.

About the Speaker:

Alex Carra For the past year and a half, Alexander Carra has used FEMAP in the analysis of aerospace structures for Lockheed Martin and NASA Goddard.

Alexander holds a MS and BS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech where his classes and projects dealt with the analysis and optimization of structures for UAV’s and other aircraft.
